3 steps that need to be followed to join the Saltwater Fly Fishing Ring:
Please read the rings Guidelines before submitting your site.1. Submit :
Please print or save this form as a text file (.txt) to retain your information and password. (highlight the form, go to "print", click "selection" or "all" if this feature is disabled). Submitting this form will place your site into the Saltwater Fly Fishing Ring "Queue", where it remains until you are added to the Ring. This does not insert your site into the ring, the actual insertion is done later. Be sure to check your information. If your URL or e-mail address are not correct, your application can not be processed.
Once you have submitted this form, you will be sent a automatic, ring-generated e-mail message containing your Ring ID number and Password .
2. Insert html code :
At this time you may insert the ring code yourself. Copy the basic code fragment and modify it with your Ring ID Number, e-mail address and your site title or business name. Instructions on how to copy and change the basic code to match your site can be found by clicking "Instructions and html ring code".
IMPORTANT ! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
At this time I am no longer able to post or e-mail individual ring codes for applicants, due to overwhelming family and occupation matters. Prospective applicants must have an elementary understanding of html, webring function and code and have to be able to build and insert the banner and code into their site after receiving their site ID number from the ring generated e-mail. A short tutorial on how to modify the basic ring code (Insertion of your site ID number, e-mail address and site title into the code fragment) can be found at this page:
Please do not copy the banner and code from a member site.
This will cause errors in the ring code.
3. e-mail the Ringmaster
After you have inserted the code into your html document, you must E-MAIL THE RINGMASTER and request to have your site taken out of the Queue and added to the Ring. Please be sure to include your Site ID number.
Upon receipt of your e-mail, the Ringmaster will review your page again, to check placement of the Saltwater Fly Fishing Ring banner and code. If the code and all hyperlinks are confirmed, the Ringmaster will insert your Site into the Ring. You will then receive another e-mail confirming your addition to the Ring.
A tip on browsing the ring:
If the "previous" and "next" links below the banner take too long to load ( on occasion the ring-cgi will slow to a crawl ) try browsing the ring-sites out of the "MEMBERS" page.
Thanks for your interest in the Saltwater Fly Fishing Ring ...... tight lines.........
